FAQ – The Wedding Storyteller
What exactly do you do on the wedding day?
I’ll handle your Instagram Stories throughout the day. That means live updates, reposting guests’ stories, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and keeping your account active while you focus on your people. I blend in quietly, moving around to catch the energy and emotion without interrupting the flow of your day.
Do you post directly on my account?
Yes, with your permission. We’ll set everything up before your wedding so I can access your account easily. You’ll come back to a beautiful highlight of your day already shared with everyone who loves you.
What do you need from me before the day?
A quick chat to learn your vibe, what moments matter most to you, and who’s who in your wedding party. I’ll also collect your Instagram login and any hashtags or handles you want used.
Do you work with our photographer or videographer?
Always. I make sure I’m not in their way, and I often help them capture small moments from a different angle. If you upgrade to The “I Do” Social Suite, we’ll already be working side by side as one team.
Will you be at the ceremony and reception?
Yes, depending on the package. The half-day package covers prep and ceremony or ceremony and reception. The full-day covers everything from morning until the last dance.
Do you take regular photos too?
I focus mainly on short-form video and story content. If you’d like additional photography or a cinematic highlight, the Recap Reel Add-On or The “I Do” Social Suite might be a better fit.
How far do you travel?
I’m based in Kelowna but open to travel for weddings around BC and Alberta. Travel fees vary depending on distance, but I’ll be upfront about costs before you book.
Why hire you instead of asking a friend?
Because your friends deserve to be present too. I love weddings and I love love, and I’ll treat your day with the same care as if it were my own. Think of me as your calm, happy presence in the background who’s quietly making sure every story gets told.
