Welcome to Lau Method Marketing. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for anyone engaging with our services, website, and materials. By accessing our site or entering into an agreement with Lau Method Marketing, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Business Information

Lau Method Marketing is a marketing consulting firm registered in British Columbia, Canada. All references to “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to Lau Method Marketing. The term “client,” “you,” or “your” refers to any person or entity purchasing or using our services.

2. Scope of Services

Lau Method Marketing provides a range of professional and creative services, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing consulting and brand strategy

  • Social media management and digital content planning

  • Branding, creative direction, and design services

  • Website design and setup

  • Courses, workshops, and digital resources

  • Event collaborations, sponsorships, and community partnerships

Each service is tailored to the client’s unique goals and is subject to the terms outlined in a written proposal or signed agreement.

3. Payment Terms

One-Time Services

For one-time projects, a 50% deposit is required upon signing the contract. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion and delivery of the final deliverables, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Recurring Services

For ongoing or retainer-based services, a minimum 3-month commitment is required. Payment for recurring services is due at the end of each month unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations

Clients may cancel recurring services by providing two (2) weeks written notice via email. No refunds will be provided for payments already made, but credit may be applied to a future service or project at the discretion of Lau Method Marketing.

Refund Policy

Due to the time, strategy, and creative work involved, all payments made to Lau Method Marketing are non-refundable. However, in some cases, payments may be applied as a credit toward a different service of equal or greater value, as determined on a case-by-case basis.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials, templates, graphics, and digital products created by Lau Method Marketing remain the exclusive property of Lau Method Marketing, unless otherwise stated in writing. Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for their own business or personal use.

Clients may not reproduce, resell, distribute, or modify any materials, templates, or resources provided without prior written permission from Lau Method Marketing.

5. Limitation of Liability

Lau Method Marketing provides strategic and creative recommendations designed to support the client’s goals. However, we do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or financial performance.

We are not liable for any loss of revenue, profit, data, or opportunity that may occur as a result of using our services or applying our recommendations.

All deliverables are provided “as is” and should be reviewed by the client for accuracy and alignment before implementation.

6. Communication Policy

Official communication must be conducted through email to maintain clarity and accountability. While messages may occasionally be exchanged via social platforms, direct messages (DMs) are not considered official communication.

All inquiries, requests, or notices regarding services, deliverables, or agreements must be sent to [insert your official business email].

7. Confidentiality

Lau Method Marketing respects your privacy and confidentiality. Any sensitive or proprietary information shared during the course of a project will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your written consent, except where required by law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts located within British Columbia.

9. Updates to Terms

Lau Method Marketing reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected with a new “Last Updated” date on this page.
